Suhail Al Mazrouei: We develop innovative solutions for traffic congestion

His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei stressed that the efforts made to enhance the efficiency of infrastructure come within the framework of implementing the directives of the wise leadership, especially those that were emphasized during the annual meetings of the UAE government, explaining that these efforts aim to raise the effectiveness of the infrastructure to be able to face the challenges. All, in addition to the issue of traffic congestion, which is considered a top priority during the coming period, in order to ensure the sustainability and quality of the services provided, in a way that reflects the country’s ambitions towards achieving sustainable development and improving the quality of life for citizens and residents.
He pointed out that traffic congestion constitutes a pivotal issue that requires special attention, as the relevant federal and local authorities are working to develop innovative solutions to address it, and efforts are focusing on improving infrastructure, enhancing the efficiency of public transport networks to make them more attractive and usable, and reducing dependence on private vehicles by encouraging Sustainable means of transportation, in addition to improving traffic policies to suit the requirements of urban growth, ensuring smooth and efficient traffic movement.
His Excellency explained that the Emirates Council for Infrastructure and Housing seeks to enhance cooperation between the relevant federal and local authorities to ensure the integration of efforts and achieve common goals.

He pointed out that investment in infrastructure reflects the vision of the wise leadership, which focuses on providing an integrated environment that supports economic and social growth, and contributes to achieving the UAE’s leadership at the global level, stressing the Council’s commitment to following up on the implementation of projects and initiatives in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency and quality, in a way that enhances the country’s competitiveness and achieves happiness. and the well-being of its community.
He said that housing, transportation, infrastructure, and energy projects are one of the paths of the new development model for the state, which will be at the forefront of development projects over the next fifty years, and the main driver of all sustainable development axes.

He stressed that the state is making great efforts to serve its citizens and residents of its land, which requires everyone to work hard and harness energies to achieve the ambitions and aspirations of our rational government, which puts people at the forefront of its concerns, and that the current stage is conducive to continuing the process of achievements and moving forward in the process of construction and development, and the path of sustainable development. witnessed throughout the country.
His Excellency extended his thanks and appreciation to all representatives of government agencies, members of the Emirates Council for Infrastructure and Housing, for their efforts that resulted in distinguished successes within a short period of time, and contributed to strengthening joint integrated work between various government agencies, both federal and local, and implementing unified national plans in support of the infrastructure and housing system. Which in turn enhances the country’s aspirations for global leadership by its centenary in 2071.
The meeting touched on efforts to enhance electronic connectivity between federal and local agencies, which contributes to eliminating bureaucracy and simplifying procedures, which allows for the implementation of projects and initiatives faster and more efficiently, and enhances coordination and integration between those agencies, ensuring the provision of distinguished and smooth services that meet the aspirations of citizens and residents, and keep pace. The meeting also discussed the development of an electronic system for managing competitiveness indicators related to the infrastructure, transportation, and housing sectors, with the aim of integrating efforts and confining them to a unified platform, ensuring the availability of continuously updated and accurate data, which supports strategic decision-making in a more effective and efficient manner, while the unified platform will contribute to enhancing The ability to monitor performance and evaluate indicators related to competitiveness, while enabling concerned parties to improve performance levels and keep pace with global trends.
