Al-Nahda Women’s Association honors the births of an initiative "The apple of my eye" And partners "Silk zaffa"

Dubai, December 17 / WAM / Under the patronage of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, the Women’s Renaissance Association in Dubai honored newborns with the “Apple of An Eye” initiative. And the partners supporting the group wedding, “Zaft Harir”.

The “Apple of An Eye” initiative comes to raise fertility rates in families participating in group weddings, and it is the first initiative of its kind at the state level within the framework of the highest priority that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” attaches to the family. Emirates as a national priority and that it will remain the cornerstone of the development process and a guarantee for the future of the nation.

The “Apple of an Eye” initiative aims to increase the formation of Emirati families, enhance their growth and empowerment, consolidate their cohesion and stability, and raise fertility rates in the country in order to achieve the goals of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, one of the most important provisions of which was the family as the solid nucleus around which society unites.

The association also honored participating families over a period of 10 years, divided according to the following categories: The first category: the first born in 2023, the second category: families with the most children, the third category: families of twins, the fourth category: families of orphans, and the fifth category: families of special children.

The association also honored the sponsors of the group wedding initiative “Zaft Harir” coinciding with the fiftieth anniversary of its founding.

The honoring ceremony was attended by His Excellency Raja Issa Saleh Al Gurg, CEO of the Issa Saleh Al Gurg Group, His Excellency Dirar Belhoul Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, members of the Federal National Council, Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Mohammed Saeed Al Falasi, Director General of the Association, and directors of charitable societies and community institutions sponsoring and supporting the event.

Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Al Falasi, Director General of the Society, appreciated the generous patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum and her support for the mass wedding initiative, which confirms the role of Her Highness in supporting the pioneering community initiatives presented to the citizen.

Afraa Al-Hai, Director of the Training and Consultation Department at the Nahda Women’s Association, thanked the male and female supporters, individuals and institutions, for their generous giving, cooperation, and assistance in covering the association’s social and humanitarian services in “Zaft Harir” and the “Qarat Ain” initiative.
