Hebrew media: Israel agreed to withdraw from Philadelphia

Hebrew Channel 14 said today (Tuesday) that the ongoing negotiations between the occupation and Hamas regarding the ceasefire agreement and the release of the hostages have reached an “almost final” stage. The discussions, which are being held in Doha with Qatari and Egyptian mediation, focus on developing mechanisms for implementing the agreement, which will be monitored by international bodies.

It is expected that the agreement will be implemented in three stages. Hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. In addition, a partial withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Philadelphia axis will begin, under Israeli military supervision, which will prevent Hamas from returning to certain areas in the Strip. The “displaced people” will be able to From returning to the northern Gaza Strip and Gaza City.

In the second phase, more hostages will be released, during which all Israeli military prisoners will be returned, in exchange for the release of a large number of Palestinian prisoners. Israel insists on transferring some of the released prisoners outside the territories of Judea, Samaria and Gaza, which is still under discussion. In addition, in this phase, Israel will complete its full military withdrawal from Gaza, but will keep its forces on the eastern and northern borders.

The third phase will mark the end of the war and the beginning of the Gaza reconstruction process. The “siege” will be lifted. Gradually, the crossings will be fully opened, and mechanisms will be established to manage the sector. The Rafah crossing will be operated in coordination between the Palestinian Authority, Egypt, and the European Union, in accordance with the arrangements made in 2005. It is expected that future management of the sector will take place through an independent committee under the auspices of the Palestinian Authority, in a move supported by Egypt and other Arab countries.
