Hamdan bin Mubarak follows the national team’s training before traveling to the Gulf Cup
Dubai, December 18 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Football Association, affirmed the keenness of the Board of Directors to provide all the reasons for success for the national teams, especially the first national team.
This came during His Excellency’s meeting today with the players of the first team and members of the technical and administrative staff during his follow-up of the training session that was held at the Dubai Police Officers Club.
The national team delegation will leave for Kuwait tomorrow morning on a private plane to participate in Gulf Zain 26.
His Excellency the President of the Federation appreciated the efforts of everyone, calling on the players to benefit from the lessons of the results achieved by the team in the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup finals, and stressed that the elite players representing the UAE in the “Gulf 26” in Kuwait are capable of providing a performance worthy of the reputation of Emirati football and achieving the goals.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak addressed the players, saying: We have great confidence in your talents, experiences, abilities, and your keenness to achieve positive results that will please your fans and fans of Emirati football. You know the importance of the Arabian Gulf Cup Championship for Gulf societies, and it is also full of challenges, but we are confident that you have acquired the necessary experience to compete. Challenges of this important tournament with confidence and determination. Your experience increases day by day, and we notice this development and are happy with it.
His Excellency pointed out the importance of harmony and playing with one team spirit, wishing the team success in achieving positive results in the tournament.
The players pledged to His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan to provide the best performance in the tournament and achieve good results that satisfy the fans, and they thanked His Excellency for his guidance, follow-up, attendance at the training units and matches, and for the great support provided by the Federation’s Board of Directors to the team.
