المملكة: The global symposium praises the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance the status of the Arabic language

The World Muslim Youth Symposium appreciated the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance the status of the Arabic language among young people.
This came on the occasion of the celebration of International Arabic Language Day, which falls on December 18 of each year.

Protecting Arab identity

The symposium praised the launch of many qualitative initiatives aimed at protecting and preserving Arab identity, and advancing it in various fields and at all levels.
She emphasized the pioneering role played by the King Salman International Academy for the Arabic Language in serving the Arabic language, by organizing conferences and seminars, launching initiatives and providing incentive awards to scholars and researchers.

She pointed out that these efforts contribute effectively to supporting and developing the Arabic language, and spreading it as an integral part of cultural identity.

Spreading and advancing the Arabic language

The global symposium also noted its specific programs that aim to spread and advance the Arabic language, by offering courses, seminars and lectures that qualify researchers and learners, especially non-native speakers.
It stressed its keenness to provide Arabic language centers, universities, and departments with Arabic libraries and computers, in a way that contributes to facilitating the task of research and serving scholars and learners.
