Al Ain, December 19 / WAM / Tawam Hospital, a subsidiary of SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, the largest healthcare group in the Middle East, has received accreditation from the National Institute for Health Specialties for the medical residency program in general surgery offered by the hospital.
The program is jointly managed by Tawam Hospital, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, while the accreditation strengthens PureHealth’s position as a leading center in surgical training, reflecting its commitment to excellence and following the highest international standards.
This step highlights the group’s efforts to prepare a generation of medical professionals who can prepare the country’s healthcare sector for the future.
Dr. Sultan Al Karam, CEO of the Al Ain Sector at SEHA, said on this occasion that human capital is an important part of the infrastructure supporting the future of the health care sector in the country, pointing out that this accreditation constitutes a testimony to the international standards that “PureHealth” facilities adhere to. “, and highlights the role of the SEHA network in advancing the national healthcare agenda.
The five-year accreditation focuses on professional development within the healthcare workforce, with special attention to high-level specialized training.
Graduates who complete the program will receive a Category 1 rating at the end of their training, which contributes to adding a cadre of highly qualified medical specialists to SEHA.
