Mohammed bin Rashid issues a decree forming the Board of Trustees of the British University in Dubai

DUBAI, 19 December / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, “may God protect him”, in his capacity as Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, issued Decree No. 69 of 2024, forming the Board of Trustees of the British University in Dubai, headed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The university’s Board of Trustees includes, as stipulated in the decree, the university’s director, Ahmed Butti Al Muhairbi, Sheikha Hind Ali Rashid Al Mualla, Mona Faisal Al Gurg, and representatives of Dubai Holding Group, the British Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and Emirates NBD Bank. Rolls-Royce International Limited, the British Business Council, and Atkins, with one representative from each party.
The term of membership in the Board of Trustees shall be three years starting from the effective date of the decree, and representatives of the aforementioned entities shall be named by their officials.
This decree shall be effective from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
