Ajman Chamber discusses investment cooperation opportunities with Ireland

Ajman, December 19 / WAM / His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Ajman Chamber, during his meeting with His Excellency Alison Milton, Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland to the country, discussed ways to enhance partnership relations and economic cooperation, develop the volume of bilateral trade, and investment opportunities in the sectors of “education, health, tourism, and agriculture.” , information technology, and food.

Salem Al Suwaidi praised the strength and strength of relations between the UAE and Ireland, stressing the importance of the meeting, which reflects the Chamber’s efforts in building partnerships and developing international cooperation relations to enhance economic growth in the Emirate of Ajman.

Al Suwaidi provided the Irish Embassy delegation with an overview of the most prominent sectors in the Emirate of Ajman, with a focus on the educational sector, which receives the attention and support of the wise leadership, and the provision of an integrated educational infrastructure that ensures the embodiment of Ajman’s vision of building human capital capable of realizing Ajman’s aspirations and enhancing the emirate’s attractiveness and livability. Pointing out that the educational sector provides promising opportunities to strengthen the partnership between Ajman and Ireland, he also provided an explanation about the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition and issued an invitation to participate in The next exhibition edition is 2025.

The embassy delegation was briefed on developments in the health sector in the emirate, the efforts made to improve the quality of medical services and expand the scope of health care and medical tourism, and Ajman’s keenness to attract health investments based on medical innovation and the latest technologies.

Alison Milton, Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland to the country, stressed her country’s keenness to deepen opportunities for partnership and cooperation with the Emirates, and praised the diversity of partnership and economic cooperation opportunities available with the Emirate of Ajman, especially in the fields of education, health and agriculture, noting Ireland’s desire to participate in the Ajman International Education Fair in its next edition. .

The two sides stressed the importance of joint forums to exchange experiences and best practices in the field of small and medium-sized companies, as well as discuss opportunities for cooperation and partnership in the field of agriculture and exploiting the successive developments witnessed by the sector, in addition to the real estate, building and construction, information technology and food sectors.
