Exciting competitions on the first day of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship

Fujairah, December 19 / WAM / The activities of the first day of the Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship 2024 witnessed strong and exciting competitions through the qualifying rounds allocated to female horses, including fillies and mares, of various age groups.

The horses of the Ajman Stud achieved a double, while the filly “Al-Aryam Harbah” by Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan achieved the highest average of points, reaching 92.30 points. She also won the Best Head and Neck Award and the Identity Standard Award for the 2- and 3-year-old fillies category. Dubai Stud’s filly “De Niran” won the Best Head and Neck Award, and the Best Filly Award in the Identity Standard for Fillies of the Year.

“Al-Aryam Harba” excelled by topping the two-year-old fillies, Section “A”, leaving second place to the filly “De Daou” by Dubai Stud, who achieved 91.60 points, while “Rajouh Al-Hawajer” by Hamid Ghanem Al-Hajri came in third place, obtaining 90.60 points.

“AJ Marmooqa” from the Ajman Stud opened the first day’s activities by topping the first half designated for one-year-old fillies, Section “A,” and achieved 91.40 points. She was followed in second place by “De Nevin” from the Dubai Stud, and obtained 91.20 points, while it came in second place. The third, “A J Hamam”, also by Ajman Stud, obtained 91.10 points.

“AJ Ghida” completed a quick double for Ajman Stud, after taking the lead in the “B” section, scoring 91.10 points. “Raneem Al Zubair” by Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah Al Thani came in second place, achieving 90.30 points, while it came in third place. “Mazyouna Ghalfa” by Saud Al Shariqi Al Kaabi, which received 90.00 points.

“Rayana Al Bahia” by Salma Muhammad Saif Al Ali took first place in the “A” section for mares aged 4 years and above, and scored 91.60 points, and “A S Sheikha” by Ahmed Muhammad Shaleik Al Shumaili came in second place, scoring 91.20 points, and came in third place. “Vegas RM” Reginaldo Jose Martins achieved the same average, but the superiority of the second-place holder came thanks to her score in the standard.
