Actress Nahed El Sebaei spoke about the issue of embarrassing her fellow star, Houria Farghaly, publicly in front of everyone, after she refused to kiss her.
Nahid responded to the uproar over a circulating video clip of her repelling Houria Farghaly at a public party, refusing to kiss her. She said on her Instagram account: “The issue has become very big, but I understand the impact of my actions and I want to clarify the situation that is currently spreading. I respect all my colleagues in the industry.” I would never intentionally cause any offense, and I would like to clear up the misunderstanding because I am surprised by the reactions.”
She added: “Regarding the issue that happened, I did not greet her because it was in the middle of an interview and the camera was running, and I did not want to interrupt it. It was an automatic reaction and that is why I decided to write a general response so that everyone would understand the situation later. We greeted each other on stage.”
She said: “I was very excited to see her, and I wanted to greet her and kiss her. But Nahid told me: Don’t kiss.”
Farghaly indicated that she does not feel any distress over Nahid’s behavior, considering that there are reasons that may be personal or health-related for this behavior.
