The Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship witnessed a remarkable attendance on its second day

Fujairah, December 20 / WAM / The Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, continued its activities on its second day, in the presence of Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Free Zone Department, and Sheikh Ahmed Bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, His Excellency Sheikh Saeed bin Suroor Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Sharqi.
The second day witnessed the participation of more than 120 purebred Arabian horses, which were classified into several categories according to international standards for horse beauty. The events were also distinguished by the diversity of activities and accompanying programmes, as the organizing committee presented distinctive displays of traditional Arabian horsemanship, in addition to a group of entertainment activities.

In the main event, competitions took place in the various beauty categories (foals, mares, and stallions), in addition to the “Best Horse in Show” category. The performances were characterized by intense competition among the participants, amid great praise from the jury and audiences for the beauty and magnificence of the horses.

The tournament continues to attract those interested in the equestrian world, with expectations that it will witness more exciting events and distinctive performances, which strengthens Fujairah’s position as a major destination for equestrian sports in the world.
