3 Emirati aid convoys arrive in the Gaza Strip this week

GAZA, December 21, 2017 (WAM): Three convoys loaded with various Emirati humanitarian aid crossed this week into the Gaza Strip through the Egyptian Rafah crossing, as part of the UAE’s efforts to support and provide relief to our Palestinian brothers during the current circumstances and within the humanitarian “Operation Gallant Knight 3”.
The convoys consist of 30 trucks carrying more than 495.1 tons of humanitarian aid, including food supplies, winter clothing, and other necessary needs.
This brings the number of aid convoys that entered the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation “Gallant Knight 3,” to 144 convoys consisting of 1,273 trucks.
The total UAE aid provided to the brotherly Palestinian people as part of the humanitarian “Operation Gallant Knight 3” to date has reached more than 28,002.5 tons, which has contributed greatly to alleviating the severity of the conditions suffered by the residents of the Gaza Strip and alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable groups and providing them with basic needs.
