“Children’s Passport Platforms” is an exceptional experience that enhances happiness at Dubai airports

Children visiting the country with their families shared an exceptional experience of stamping their passports themselves and completing entry procedures, in the presence of the Director General of the General Department of Residency and Immigration Affairs in Dubai, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri.
Parents and those accompanying children said that travel is stressful by its nature, especially when it comes to entry or exit procedures from airports, but what we witnessed at Dubai Airport is an exceptional experience by all standards, as it turned into a kind of entertainment and greatly reduced the pressure and tension that preceded arriving in Dubai.
In detail, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri followed the progress of work at Dubai airports during an inspection tour during which he was accompanied by the Assistant Director General of the Air Ports Sector, Major General Talal Al Shanqeeti, and the Deputy Director of the Passport Control Department, Terminal No. 3, Major Juma bin Subaih, during which he was keen to ensure the availability of a comfortable and smooth travel experience for travelers.
Al Marri said that the passport officers at the three airport terminals, as well as at the land and sea border crossings, are making a great effort to facilitate traveler procedures, noting their role in serving those arriving to the country, especially through Dubai Airport, which represents the most attractive front of the emirate.
During the tour, Al Marri was keen to share with the children the experience of stamping passports through their passport platform, noting the role of management partners at Dubai Airports and the importance of cooperation and coordination to achieve the highest levels of service, within the framework of one team that serves the country and the emirate.
In turn, travelers expressed their happiness with the experience of stamping passports at Dubai Airport, noting that it is exceptional by all standards, and greatly relieves stress after hours of flying.
They pointed out that allowing their children to stamp passports themselves represents a unique initiative by the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners in Dubai, as they usually receive different treatment at other airports, but they were surprised by a warm reception and wonderful treatment from the employees who helped their children complete the procedures.
It is noteworthy that the Dubai Authority launched children’s platforms in April of last year to allow thousands of children to experience this experience for themselves, with the aim of establishing a favorable image of the emirate in their memories, and enhancing a state of trust and warmth with them.
The platforms that were set up in the arrivals hall in Building No. 3 were designated for children from 4 to 12 years old, and they were given the opportunity to stamp their passports themselves through specialized supervisors and experts in the field of dealing with children from the passport officers, who were responsible for communicating with them and answering their inquiries. More than one person participated in the experiment. 10,000 children within the first two months of its launch.
