Abu Dhabi team wins the Sultan Bin Zayed Polo Cup Championship title
ABU DHABI, December 22nd / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Polo Team was crowned champion of the Sultan Bin Zayed Polo Cup Championship, which concluded yesterday, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo Club.
The Abu Dhabi team won the final match of the tournament over the Bin Dri team (the defending champion) with a score of (8/5).
The Ghantoot Horse Racing and Polo Club supervised the organization of the fifth edition of the tournament, in which 6 teams participated.
In the third and fourth place match, the Ancora team was able to defeat the “AM” team with a score of (7/3), to occupy third place.
The closing ceremony program included many entertainment and heritage activities and performances for children, while Abu Dhabi Police musicians participated in distinguished performances, and the Folklore Band presented examples of heritage arts.
