This came on the sidelines of Bin Touq’s visit to Japan, and participation in the “Investobia – Tokyo” event, which aims to explore opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the main economic sectors, brings together many officials and leaders from vital sectors, and provides an important opportunity for communication between Japanese and Emirati companies. .

The Minister of Economy said during his meeting with the Japanese Minister of State for Economy, Trade and Industry, that the UAE and Japan enjoy strong relations at all levels, in addition to the existence of strategic economic and investment ties that have witnessed great development over the past years, stressing the UAE’s aspiration to reach higher levels of partnership and cooperation during this stage. In the future, this will contribute to the growth and prosperity of the economies of the two countries.

He stressed the UAE’s keenness to strengthen the economic partnership with Japan, especially in the fields of advanced technology, clean energy and the circular economy, pointing to the increasing momentum that economic relations between the two countries have witnessed over the past years, and the importance of building on the successes achieved in the sectors, investment and commercial activities to achieve sustainable growth that serves the interests of Japan. His Excellency stressed that the UAE is an ideal partner for Japanese companies wishing to expand in the region, with its competitive economic environment, advanced infrastructure, and pioneering legislative system, which has consolidated the country’s position as a global center for establishing and doing business, and as one of the most attractive investment markets in the world.
