Plans to target the Saudi ambassador. The perpetrator of the Magdeburg incident offered a reward to reach him

While investigations are underway into the perpetrator of the Christmas market crash in Magdeburg, eastern Germany, which killed 5 people and injured at least 200 others, more details are emerging about the perpetrator of the incident and his planning.
A source told Independent Arabia that the accused, called Talib A, offered a reward of approximately 2,660 euros to anyone who provides information about the residence of the Saudi ambassador to Germany.
He added that the accused “requested that the location and time of his presence be determined. The Saudi embassy only informed the German authorities, who did not deal seriously with the matter.”

Right-wing extremist

According to what was reported by the “Deutsche Welle” website, the perpetrator of the attack is an activist who espouses critical views of Islam, and is a supporter of the far-right Alternative for Germany party.
The German magazine “Der Spiegel” reported that the suspect’s posts on social media indicated his sympathy for the Alternative for Germany party.
Meanwhile, the German News Agency said that the 50-year-old doctor, who has permanent residency in Germany, had previously described himself as a former Muslim.
The alleged perpetrator wrote negative posts on social media about German authorities and, among other things, accused Berlin of not making enough efforts to fight Islamism, the news agency said.
