Everyone runs to talk to the new Syrian ruler, and does not stop for a single moment to see whether the new Syria, led by the leader of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, which includes all the extremist factions, will truly be a new Syria, and whether human rights will be preserved. On its ethnic and religious minorities, and whether the new Syria will truly be free and liberated from the burden of the previous regime, or if the Syrians simply replaced one dictator with another, with the same degree of cruelty and murder.

These days there are organizations The United Nations and countries are talking with Al-Sharaa, the head of the new regime, and with representatives of his government about aid to the new Syria and responding to Al-Sharaa’s request to remove Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham from the list of terrorist organizations, and to lift the sanctions imposed on Syria, as they were, as he said, imposed on Syria before. The Assad regime, and therefore it is no longer valid and must be removed.

It is very likely that if there is no change in the behavior of Western leaders, we will see in the near future the countries of the world standing in queues to sign agreements and contracts with the new Syria in order to restore, than Syria was, which is possible and that this will happen even if there are no new elections to replace the interim government appointed by Sharaa, all of whose members belong to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, and even if there are no presidential elections and it will not include Al-Shara has in his government representatives of all the organizations that fought to overthrow the Assad regime, or representatives of all sects and religions

It can be assumed that the IMF and the World Bank will continue to court the rulers of the new Syria, in order to win a share of the enormous economic pie for the reconstruction of Syria, And replacing Iran, which has invested tens of billions in Syria. 

And Syria, including in reconstruction and construction projects in Assad’s Syria, “which lost its investments.” And I was left with bad debts. It cooperates with the two well-known allies in adopting the terrorist Brotherhood and committing crimes in the Arab countries and demolishing them under the claims of the so-called Arab Spring, in rebuilding the new Syria, even if it becomes clear that the Sharia regime will do so. 

It would not be different. A lot about the Assad regime, and the Sharia and the fighters of extremist organizations will continue, after the matter is settled, to kill and export terrorism to other countries, as these people have previous experiences and are not safe.

To what extent will the rich Gulf states be willing to finance the new Syria, in exchange for promises and expectations of influence? To what extent will the countries of the world be willing to provide various grants to the new regime in Syria, and to what extent will countries such as Turkey and Russia be able to invest without obtaining a tangible return on investment just to achieve stability or strengthen their position in the new Syria?
