Al-Sudani: The Iraqi paper on Syria was welcomed by all countries

Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani said that his country took the initiative to make contacts and visits with sister countries, and launched an initiative to establish security in Syria, in addition to presenting an Iraqi paper at the Aqaba Conference in Jordan regarding Syria, noting that it was welcomed by all brothers, explaining His country is putting forward initiatives, solutions and positions that suit the challenges in the region.

The Sudanese media office stated – in a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) – Al-Sudani met, in the city of Mosul today, Sunday, with a group of tribal sheikhs and representatives of the various components and sects in Nineveh Governorate, stressing that all the projects that were launched today in Nineveh were destroyed by terrorism, pointing out that in the days of celebration of Victory Day over Gangs Terrorism, Iraq is living in the ruins of the ISIS era. And he is working to launch new projects.

Al-Sudani pointed out that the true image of the Iraqi people triumphed over what terrorism wanted in targeting security and peaceful coexistence between all components and sects, stressing that the sedition of terrorism and the foreign agenda harmed society in Nineveh, explaining that Iraq today is on the right track in building a state that respects the citizen, adheres to the constitution, and builds its institutions in a way that meets the aspirations of citizens, noting that Iraq has regained its leadership role in the region and has become an influential and effective country in Its surroundings.

In this context, the Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, confirmed that his country’s government was able to keep the risks away from Iraq, especially with the security challenges the region witnessed, including the transformation that took place in Syria.

The Sudanese media office stated – in a statement reported by (INA) – that the Sudanese chaired a meeting of the security and military leaders in Nineveh Governorate, where the Iraqi Prime Minister indicated the necessity of preserving the security achievement that It was achieved thanks to the great sacrifices of the Iraqis, and not tolerating any event whatsoever in order to maintain the stability with which the government launched development and service projects.
