المملكة: In detail.. The Minister of Interior holds an official discussion session with his Kuwaiti counterpart

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, held an official discussion session with Sheikh Fahd bin Youssef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait.
This came at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, and at the beginning of the session, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud welcomed Sheikh Fahd Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom.

Saudi-Kuwaiti relations

His Highness confirmed that this meeting came based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance security cooperation in light of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.

During the discussion session, ways of enhancing security cooperation between the two brotherly countries were discussed, especially with regard to combating drug smuggling, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common interest.
The discussion session was attended by the Assistant Minister of the Interior, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Battal, the Director of Public Security, Lieutenant General Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, the Director General of the Minister’s Office for Studies and Research, Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Arwan, and the Director General of the Border Guard, Major General Rukn Shayea. It was also attended by the Director General of Passports, Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al Murabba, the Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Issa, and the Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, Major General Abdullah bin Fahd Al Fares.

On the Kuwaiti side, it was attended by the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the advisor to His Excellency the Minister, Adel Ahmed Al-Manawer, the Assistant Undersecretary for Private Security Affairs, Major General Abdullah Safah Al-Mulla, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs, Major General Hamid Manahi Al-Mutairi.
Also present were the Head of the State Security Service, Major General Khaled Abdul Hadi Al Shanfa, the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamad Ahmed Al Munifi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Border Security Affairs, Major General Mujbil Fahd Al Rashidi, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Port Security Affairs, Brigadier General Atef Ali Al Habashi.
