Sharjah is champion of the Federation Handball Cup

Sharjah, March 25 / WAM / Today, the Sharjah team was crowned champion of the first edition of the Handball Federation Cup, following the conclusion of the tournament, winning the 52nd title in its history.
The Sharjah team participated in the tournament in the men’s and cubs’ categories, and was able to achieve the title before concluding with one round.
Today, Sharjah defeated Dibba Al-Hisn 32-29 in the Sharjah Club Hall, during the postponed match of the fourth round of the cup, reaching 36 points achieved from 12 consecutive victories for the two categories, at the expense of Shabab Al-Ahly, Al-Wasl, Al-Nasr, Maliha, Dibba Al-Hisn, and Al-Dhaid.
The winning team was crowned by Engineer Saud Ibrahim Saleh, President of the Emirates Handball Federation, in the presence of Mohammed Jumaa bin Hindi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, Mohammed Obaid Al-Hussan, Secretary General of the Sharjah Sports Council, Obaid Saeed Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club, and a number of members of the Handball Federation and Sharjah Sports Club.
