Kuwait.. Madar stock rises and touches the highest price in 37 months

The shares of Al-Madar Kuwaiti Holding Company, listed and traded on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, rose to reach its highest price in 37 months, at the beginning of trading on Sunday.

The stock rose by 13.73%, trading at 116 dinars per share.

Trading in “Madar” stock at that time occurred through 918 trading transactions, over approximately 17 million shares, with a trading value approaching 2 million dinars.

The highest share price at that time was 123 dinars, while the lowest share price was 104 dinars.

The stock thus touched its highest price in 37 months, specifically since November 11, 2021.

Al-Madar Kuwaiti Holding Company recorded a jump in profits of 307.6% on an annual basis, to record 298.44 thousand dinars, during the second quarter of the current year 2024.

While it recorded profits amounting to 73.22 thousand dinars, during the same period of last year 2023.

“Madar” recorded profits of about 28.77 thousand dinars during the third quarter of the current year 2024, compared to 40.98 thousand dinars during the same period of last year 2023. The company witnessed an increase in profits of 412.83 thousand dinars during the first 9 months of Current year 2024.

While it achieved about 19.54 thousand dinars, during the same period of last year 2023.
