War crime
Killing prisoners of war is a war crime, and Russian forces have repeatedly been accused of committing this crime.
In an interview in mid-December, Lubinets said the number of confirmed killings since the start of the war had reached 177, with the number rising rapidly.
He added that 109 executions were carried out this year alone.
