New development projects for Dubai Police in Al Ruwayyah and Hatta

DUBAI, 22nd December, 2017 (WAM) – Dubai Police announced the details of the new General Administration for Security of Bodies, Facilities and Emergency project, which is being implemented along Emirates Road in the First Roya area behind the University City and is expected to be completed in the last quarter of 2026, and the training center project for the Dubai Police Academy. In the city of Hatta, its completion will be completed in the first half of 2025.

Engineer Lieutenant Colonel Faisal Al Tamimi, Director of Assets and Facilities Management at Dubai Police, said that the General Administration for Security of Bodies and Facilities project consists of several main elements, including an administrative building, an outdoor training field, rest areas and warehouses, and a residential building designated for the security of bodies and facilities and emergencies. It also provides outdoor parking spaces accommodating about 400 vehicles, including heavy vehicles and machinery, in addition to an integrated mechanical workshop for vehicles and a washing and lubrication area.

The project also includes the Personal Security and Protection Department, the Security Inspection Department, the Armed Response Center, the Event Security Office, the Administrative Affairs Department, the Force Facilities Security Department, the Emergency Department, the Security Department of Vital Bodies and Facilities, the Police Operations Training Department, and the Explosives Security Department.

He added that the project is distinguished by providing an integrated health club for men and another for women, which includes all health and sports facilities, and also contains an outdoor sports area.

Engineer Faisal Al Tamimi also announced the start of implementation of the training center for the Dubai Police Academy in the city of Hatta, which is located on the Hatta – Dubai Road near the Hatta Hotel, within the land allocated for the project.

He explained that the new project aims to provide academic training for candidates and freshmen, in addition to organizing specialized courses for Dubai Police personnel.

The project includes a main building, a shooting range, and a sports stadium with a capacity to accommodate 180 students. He pointed out plans to transfer part of the training and academic courses held in Dubai to Hatta to facilitate the movement of participants and save time and effort.

He pointed out that the project on which work has begun is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025.
