Majed Al Mohandes.. a new “mini album” and concerts in the Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait

The “Prince of Arabic Song” bids farewell to Majed Al-Mohandis in the year 2024, and welcomes the year 2025, with prominent and full artistic activity, culminating in the release of a “mini-album”, next Thursday, December 26, and with a group of public concerts, which he will perform in a group of countries within a short period.

The engineer’s new lyrical “mini-album” is titled “Shati Bahr,” and it includes only four songs, the lyrics of all of which were written by the poet Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed, three of which were composed by Sadiq Al-Shaer, while Ahmed Al-Harmi composed the fourth song.

The lyrics of the song, which bears the title of the album, say: “My father is a seashore and the waves therein scatter my sorrows / And my father is sorrows that dissipate and do not settle in my years / And my father is that I do not fear the evil of what my benevolence covered / And my father is companions that do not betray me and enemies that do not heal me / And my father is health as much as the pain does not afflict me / And my father The richest of riches overwhelms me, and I am tempted by it. He guides me. And my father, with goodness, I will be the first, and after me I will be the second. And my father, with the power, will pardon the one who “He was hurting me.”

Last Friday, Al-Muhandis performed a concert as part of the “Riyadh Season” activities, under the title “The Night of Majid Al-Muhandis,” in which he performed, over a period of three hours, a group of his most prominent songs, which he performed over the last 15 years, on the singing session system.

On the evening of Thursday, December 26, the engineer will perform a public concert in the Kingdom of Bahrain at the “Al Dana” theater, before meeting the Emirati audience in a concert that brings him together with the artist Asala Nasri, on the evening of Friday, January 10, 2025, at the “Coca-Cola Arena” theater, before heading to The State of Kuwait, to participate in the “Hala February” concerts next February.

On the musical level, the company that produced the movie “A Few Hours One Day” released the song “Ansas Mashaweer,” presented by the engineer in his voice. It is considered a prelude to the release of the movie in Egyptian and Arab cinemas next week. It stars: Hisham Maged and Hana El Zahid. And Muhammad Salam.

The engineer had also recently released the song “Take My Eyes,” written by Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Nasser and composed by Ahmed Al-Harami. The romantic song was widely spread among the audience. Its lyrics say: “Take my eyes and give me a little of your love/It is enough and you are the one who has little.” How much/Give me the light of a star and a night from your eyes/And leave me to how I live and stay awake/You know that you are one of those who have no alternative/My heart from the rest of the people does not know/Yours A torrent of love overflows within me/ Otherwise, no one else would move his hair for me/ O unique, rare, precious, and authentic/ Being dry with you, my beloved, is what I value.”
