Comprehensive equipment in Kuwait stadiums to host "Gulf 26"

Engineer Rasha Al-Sayegh, Director of the Major Facilities and Maintenance Department at the Kuwait Sports Authority, said that the preparation work that took place at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000 spectators, included comprehensive maintenance of the crowd stands, installation of directional signs, and numbering of seats to match the electronic ticket system. Developing a ticket system in accordance with the latest international practices, and providing additional parking lots in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works.

She explained that the services for media professionals included supplying television broadcast cables, implementing a modern television transmission network, expanding the media area, equipping commentators’ rooms and the analytical studio, in addition to services related to VIP guests and personalities, modernizing the audio and video system, and installing the latest systems in the “Goal Control Center.” Electronic scoreboard, lighting, electronic gate for fans to enter, Wi-Fi network, and security cameras.

She pointed out that Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium, which has a capacity of 15,000 spectators, has also witnessed comprehensive upgrades, including the hybrid grass field in accordance with the requirements of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), 4 suites for the players, the technical staff and physical therapists, the central clinic, the referees’ lounge, the sports equipment store, and 8 dining halls for the fans. 3 gyms, an operating room, service halls, a press conference hall that can accommodate between 50 and 60 people, and a media center for 60. people, a VIP room, 5 commentator rooms, an analytical studio, a control room, and a sound systems operating room, in addition to other modern systems in lighting and transportation, electronic gates, a modern sound system, a camera network, and external lighting.
