Experts: The chances are equal in the UAE group to qualify for the Gulf Cup semi-finals

Kuwait, December 23 / WAM / A number of football experts confirmed that the chances of qualifying for the semi-finals are equal among the teams of Group One in the Arabian Gulf Football Cup.
Subit Khater, a technical analyst and former international player, said that our national team is capable of achieving a positive result against its Kuwaiti counterpart tomorrow, after it was close to achieving the full score in the last match against the Qatari team.
He explained that the UAE national team players have the ability to make the difference against a strong team that is fighting in its stadium and among its fans.
Technical analyst Fawzi Bashir, the former Omani national team star, believes that the chances are equal among the four teams to compete to reach the semi-finals, given the close levels in the first round, adding that each team has strong elements that can form the focus of advantage in the second round tomorrow.
Technical analyst Hussein Baba, the former Bahraini national team star, predicted that our national team will win over its Kuwaiti counterpart tomorrow, despite the expected mass attendance of Kuwaiti national team fans and its positive impact on the players, especially in the first half.
He stated that if the UAE team succeeds in passing the first half of the match, it will be able to achieve superiority in the second half, indicating that he expects a draw in the second match between the Qatari and Omani teams if their technical level is at the same rate in the opening round.
Our first national football team is competing with the “Big Three” teams of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman and Qatar for the qualification ticket to the semi-finals of the Arabian Gulf Football Cup, “Khaleeji Zain 26”, and will defend its chances in the second round tomorrow, Tuesday, before the final round in the group stage.
Our national team will face its Kuwaiti counterpart at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, while the Omani team will meet its Qatari counterpart at Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium.
The four teams in Group A are equal with the same score of points and goals after our national team tied with the Qatar team, and the Kuwaiti team tied with its Omani counterpart with the same score, “1-1”, in the opening round of the tournament last Saturday.
