"Successor of humanity"We continue to organize and support mass weddings to reduce the burden on young people

Al Ain, February 7, WAM / His Excellency Mohammed Haji Al Khouri, Director General of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Humanitarian Foundation, confirmed that the Foundation is moving forward in translating the directives of the wise leadership to enhance family cohesion, pointing to the success of organizing the third mass wedding for the citizens of the country, which witnessed a record participation of 375 wedding parties (with a total of 750 brides and grooms).

His Excellency told the Emirates News Agency, WAM: “We are proud to organize this group wedding, which reflects the confidence of the people of the country in the Foundation’s initiatives.”

He added that our strategy at the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation is fully compatible with the strategy of the wise government in conjunction with the Year of the Family, aiming to facilitate marriage and reduce costs on young people.

He explained that the Foundation will continue the successful experience of “afternoon weddings,” noting that last year’s achievements included organizing 60 weddings for women during the afternoon period, at a reasonable cost that ensures joy and privacy.

He noted that the Foundation provides its “Al Bayt Mitwahid” halls in the Northern Emirates to serve this purpose, stressing that the door is open for every citizen who wishes to organize her wedding in the afternoon to contact the Foundation to organize her entire celebration.

He said: “We will continue our approach, and we will not stop supporting group weddings or afternoon weddings for women. Our goal is to build a cohesive and stable Emirati home away from the burdens of debt and expensive appearances.”
