Yesterday, the Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 12 tenders, for which 61 companies competed with different bids, the most important of which was a tender for Gulf Air to provide four four- and five-star hotels, and establish outlets for the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, and a new building for the fire school at the Bapco Refining Company.

Gulf Air requested the appointment of at least four four- and five-star hotels to provide short-term accommodation requirements for various business-related activities, including attending employment interviews, short stays for new joiners and outstation employees, and trainers and suppliers attending meetings and training courses in Bahrain. For a two-year contract, two companies competed for the tender and the lowest bid was 1.2 million dinars.

The Gulf Air Group issued a tender to supply economy class blankets for flight service for a contractual period of 3 years, and 16 companies submitted a bid with the lowest bid amounting to 247.2 thousand dinars.

The Ministry of Works wants to establish outlets for the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club “Part Two”. The project includes developing the road connecting Zallaq Street and the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, and establishing a rainwater drainage network with the provision of traffic signs. Four companies applied for the project, the lowest bidding of which reached 7.6 million. Dinar.

The Ministry of Works submitted a tender to replace the central air coolers and repair work on the main wall at the Issa Cultural Center in Juffair. The bids for two companies amounted to about 764.5%, the lowest bid submitted.

Three companies are competing for a tender submitted by Bapco Refining Company to design, supply and install canopies for the pedestrian walkways in the refinery from the northern gate entrance to a number of non-operational buildings inside the refinery. The lowest bid submitted was 65.9 thousand dinars. While Bapco Refining Company intends to prepare the site for excavation and road works to construct a new building for the fire school, 9 companies submitted to it with varying bids, the lowest of which was worth 479.1 thousand dinars.

Customs Affairs issued a limited tender to contract with a local company to supply maintenance services for air conditioning units for its buildings, provided that the contract is to be made with the company with the highest rating in the results for a period of two years. Four companies competed for the tender, the lowest bidding at 17.8 thousand dinars.

Bapco Energies launched a tender to obtain a framework agreement for managed information technology services used by the company, and 4 bids were submitted, the lowest of which was valued at 96.4 thousand dinars.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority offered a tender to provide front-end development services for information technology, for a period of up to 3 years, where the services will be provided at the authority’s main office in the Seef area and in other locations within the Kingdom. 7 companies submitted their bids, the lowest value of which was 43.9 thousand dinars.

The Department of Public Services and Central Stores at the Electricity and Water Authority intends to purchase sulfuric acid for the purpose of use by the Abu Jarjour station. Two bids were submitted for the tender, the lowest of which was 49.5 thousand dinars.
