On its 8th day… great interaction and exceptional attendance at the Riyadh Theater Festival
The activities included a training workshop entitled “The Actor on the Stage,” in addition to theatrical works, reviewing the concept of acting as “real life in imagined circumstances.”

Amid the interaction of the audience, the audience witnessed a special presentation entitled “The Bottle,” an exciting story with deep human dimensions, during which the creative abilities of the actors were highlighted, who embodied their roles with great professionalism.
On the other hand, the play “Saleeq and Baqit” took the audience on a unique comedic journey through deep dialogues.
Cultural and artistic events
The sixth day of the Riyadh Theater Festival witnessed a series of cultural and artistic events that combined in-depth dialogue seminars and various theatrical performances.
Those wonderful times also enjoyed audience interaction with content that combined intellectual depth and artistic creativity, which reflects the importance of the festival as a platform for developing the theatrical scene in the Kingdom.
The activities included a dialogue symposium entitled “Contemporary Theater in the Arab World: Between Creativity and Sustainability,” in which Dr. Kamal Al-Alawi from Tunisia and Dr. Lina Abyad from Lebanon participated, and was moderated by Sultan Al-Noah.
Al Noah opened the dialogue by clarifying the concept of sustainability, as “the ability to preserve the quality of life and use natural resources in a responsible and sustainable manner.”
The fifth day of the Riyadh Theater Festival activities
On its fifth day, the Riyadh Theater Festival shined with distinctive performances that varied between creative workshops and realistic plays rich in deep content.
The theatrical activities began with the workshop “The Story Architect: The Role of the Dramaturg in Theater – Part Two,” presented by Dr. Riad Sakran.
He shed light on the role of the dramaturg in enhancing theatrical texts and crafting them in a creative way that supports the vision of directors and authors.
The play “Wedding Ring” attracted attention with its realistic story that takes the audience on an exciting journey through the corridors of married life, and the ability of the spouses to understand and accept challenges, and try to convince each other to achieve family cohesion.
