المملكة: “Haramain Care” provides a free luggage storage service at the Grand Mosque

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque announced the provision of a free luggage storage service for Umrah pilgrims.
Two locations have been allocated for this service in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque: the eastern courtyard: next to the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Library, and the western courtyard: opposite Gate 64 (Al-Shubaika).

Baggage storage centres

The Authority has established a set of controls to regulate the use of the service, which are: presenting the Umrah permit through the Nasak application, not depositing prohibited items or valuables, setting the period for storing luggage to a maximum of 4 hours, receiving bags only, not accepting luggage in bags, and prohibiting the storage of food or medicines inside. Bags, provided that the weight of the bag does not exceed 7 kilograms, and the delivery card must be brought when receiving the baggage.
The authority revealed its future plan to increase the number of luggage storage centers, to cover all axes of the Grand Mosque and the roads leading to it, with the aim of facilitating service for everyone and ensuring the performance of rituals in comfort and reassurance.
