"Biography of honor" and"Storm".. Suez Culture presents the first theater club performances

The performances of the new season of theater clubs in the Canal and Sinai Cultural Territories, organized by the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, continue on the stage of the Ismailia Culture Palace, under the supervision of the writer Mohamed Nassif, Vice President of the Authority, within the programs of the Ministry of Culture.

Oula presented Theatrical performances of the Suez Culture Branch, the first was titled “Biography of Honor.” Written and directed by Ayman El-Sherif, and its events take place in one of the villages of Luxor Governorate, where a struggle erupts between two families to control the leadership of the village, which leads to the breaking of an ancient covenant whose goal was to protect the town from waves of blood, and as positions change and positions change, events move towards an end that seems… Inevitable for some, with the exception of one person named Sharaf, who has a way to change fate.

 

The second presentation was entitled "The Storm", written by Ahmed Adam, dramaturg Bishoy Al-Bir, scenography and direction by Ayat Zaidan, and its events revolve in a dramatic form, around a group of young people trying to confront the storm that came and destroyed everything in its path. 

 

The screening was attended by a jury consisting of director Hamdi Hussein, critic Dr. Lamia Anwar, interior designer Mohamed Talaat, and a critical symposium was held to discuss the technical aspects of the show in the presence of the committee consisting of director Samir Zaher, writer Israa Mahboub, and director Ahmed Khalifa.

 

The shows are produced by management. The General Theater, headed by Samar Al-Wazir, affiliated with the Central Administration for Artistic Affairs, headed by the artist Ahmed Al-Shafi’i, and presented in cooperation with the Canal and Sinai Cultural Region, managed by Dr. Shuaib Khalaf, Director General of the Region and the Suez Culture Branch, headed by Abdel Moneim Halawa.

 

The Canal and Sinai Cultural Region is witnessing 16 theatrical performances this season in theater clubs; The Ismailia Culture Palace hosts performances by the Ismailia and Suez Theater Clubs, the Arish Culture Palace witnesses performances by North Sinai Theater Clubs, and Port Said Theater Clubs performances are held at the Port Said Culture Palace Theater, and conclude on December 29th.

 

The Culture Palaces Authority, during the new season of the theater club experience, presents 155 free theatrical performances selected by 325 projects, in an experience that is the most Popular in the history of Egyptian theatre, during which the Culture Palaces Authority provides the opportunity for young people to highlight their talents in the theatrical field with simple capabilities, taking into account the selection of theatrical performances from various governorates, with the aim of providing a distinguished cultural service to the public, and a theatrical product that reaches all governorates, in order to achieve the principle of cultural justice.< /p>
