المملكة: 30 teams from 15 Saudi universities qualify for the final of the “Smarter U” competition

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) announced the completion of the second phase of the National Artificial Intelligence Competition (Smarter U), which it organizes in partnership with Microsoft, with 30 teams from 15 Saudi universities qualifying for the final phase.
The nominated teams will receive training sessions on practical demonstrations and mentoring sessions provided by global experts from Sdaya and Microsoft, in addition to assistance in creating a prototype.

Great competition

During the second phase, the competition witnessed great competition between 84 teams from 28 Saudi universities, during which they presented many creative ideas. The accompanying training programs also contributed to developing their ideas and experiences for employing artificial intelligence technologies in various scientific and professional fields, and also qualified them to obtain professional certificates from Microsoft.
This competition reinforces the efforts made by Sdaya to build national capabilities in the field of data and artificial intelligence and raise the level of knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence to become competitive with their counterparts in the world, by investing in its partnership with Microsoft.
