Al-Ahly Basketball Men| Keigo: Winning the linked league came at a perfect time
Mustafa Keigo, player of the first men’s basketball team at Al-Ahly Club, expressed his happiness at the team’s victory in the Al-Muttala Professional League title at the expense of Al-Ittihad Alexandria.
He explained that the match was strong. It witnessed great competition and excitement, and the players had great determination to win the title, despite the loss in the first leg.
He pointed out that the players pledged to do their best. Everything they had to win the championship, which came at a very perfect time, in order to give everyone a great morale boost to complete the season appropriately and compete for titles.
Al-Ahly was crowned champion. After leading in the first period with a score of 20-10, then it advanced in the second period with a score of 44-25, and continued its superiority in the third period with a score of 61-52 before the fourth and final period witnessed a debate between the two teams that ended in favor. Al-Ahly scored 83-80, while the Shabab Al-Muttala team defeated Al-Ittihad with a score of 58-55.
And “Al-Ahly Basketball Men” lost the first leg to Al-Ittihad. With a score of 86-80, while the youth team won with a score of 56-55.
