A 5-magnitude earthquake strikes northwest Colombia

An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale struck the city of Valdivia, northwestern Colombia.

The US Geological Survey stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was 15 kilometers northeast of the Valdivia area, and it occurred at a depth of 70 kilometers. There have been no reports so far of human or material losses.
