Al-Arabiya channel quoted Iranian media as saying that explosions had been heard in several areas of Iran.
It pointed to the launching of raids on targets in the city of Abadan, south of the Ahwaz province, and the sound of explosions being heard in Nour Abad, Fars Governorate, south of Iran.
Iranian media also reported explosions in Bushehr and Bandar Abbas, south of Iran.
