Al Qasimia University launches two master’s programs in Arabic language and jurisprudence and its principles

Sharjah, December 26 / WAM / The Board of Trustees of Al Qasimia University approved the launch of two master’s programs in jurisprudence and its origins and Arabic language and literature in light of the university obtaining the approval of the Commission for Academic Accreditation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the country, in line with the needs of the labor market.
This came during the 13th regular meeting of the Board of Trustees for the academic year 2024-2025, which was held yesterday under the chairmanship of His Excellency Jamal Salem Al Tarifi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Qasimia University and President of the University, at the university’s headquarters in Sharjah.
The graduation of the eighth batch of university students who completed the graduation requirements for bachelor’s programs in the university’s five colleges was also approved.
The Council discussed the university’s annual plan for the academic year 2024-2025, and the methodology of the new strategic plan 2025-2030.
The Council began the meeting by offering its highest thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, founder of the university, praising His Highness’s pioneering vision and continuous support for Al Qasimia University, which contributed to strengthening its position as a global academic center that attracts students from more than 128 nationalities in various fields. Countries of the world.
During the meeting, Professor Dr. Awad Al-Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, presented detailed reports on the university’s performance during the previous academic year and the work plan for the academic year 2024-2025, and the university’s achievements in the fields of education and scientific research, community service and joint cooperation agreements with a number of international institutions and universities. And enhancing the quality of the university’s accredited academic programs.
The Council also reviewed the reports of various committees related to resource development, academic affairs, compliance and auditing, recruitment and international relations, as well as initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ academic experience and various activities that hone their skills and abilities, making them able to face the challenges of the future and contribute to serving their communities.
Al-Tarifi appreciated the efforts of the Council members and their valuable contributions to achieving the mission of Al Qasimia University, as a translation of the vision of its founder, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, to be a beacon of excellence in higher education and scientific research with its pillars being the Holy Qur’an and the Arabic language, stressing the importance of the university’s strategic planning, which contributes to the development of scientific research and community service. .
