“Islamic Cooperation” condemns the occupation minister’s storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the storming of the extremist minister of the Israeli occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the violation of its sanctity under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
It considered this a provocation to the feelings of all Muslims, and a flagrant violation of international law and the existing historical and legal situation in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Stop violations

The organization reaffirmed that the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Holy Mosque are a pure place of worship for Muslims only, and that Israel, the occupying power, has no sovereignty over the city of Jerusalem and its holy sites.
At the same time, it called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to put an end to these serious and repeated violations of the sanctity of holy places and freedom of worship.
