During phone calls with a number of foreign ministers, Abdullah bin Zayed discusses regional developments
Abu Dhabi, 24 March / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed during telephone calls with a number of foreign ministers of brotherly and friendly countries the current regional developments with the continuation of the brutal Iranian missile and terrorist attacks targeting the UAE and a number of sister countries.
His Highness held telephone discussions with His Excellency José Manuel Albarez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, His Excellency Le Hoai Trong, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His Excellency Tom Berendsen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The communications discussed the dire consequences of the brutal Iranian missile and terrorist attacks, which would undermine regional and international security and threaten the stability of the global economy and energy security.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and their Excellencies the ministers condemned and strongly denounced the brutal and terrorist Iranian attacks and affirmed the full and legitimate right of all targeted countries to respond to these attacks in a way that guarantees the protection of their sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, their citizens, residents and visitors, in accordance with international law.
His Highness expressed his thanks and appreciation to their Excellencies the ministers for their country’s full solidarity with the UAE, stressing the safety of residents and visitors in the country.
During the telephone conversations, the ministers also touched on the importance of giving priority to the language of dialogue and diplomatic means to resolve crises and outstanding issues in a way that contributes to maintaining regional and international security.
