Strong competitions at the Mohammed bin Zayed Camel Racing and Camel Racing Festival

Umm Al Quwain, December 27 / WAM / The auction of the Sun Laqaya races of local camels and purebred camels at the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Festival for Purebred Arabian Camel Races and the “Al-Labasa 2024-2025” camel auction witnessed strong competitions between camel owners on the third day of the auction. , which is held in Al Labsa Square in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain.

The organizing committee crowned the winners of the competitions, in the presence of His Excellency Matar Ali bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, representative of the Camel Racing Federation, a number of camel owners in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and the audience of auctions.

The results in the Sharaya Local Locator Round for Tribesmen resulted in “Al-Waia” by its owner Mubarak Obaid Saeed Salmeen Al-Mansouri winning first place, “Scepter” won by its owner Abdulaziz Muhammad Ayed Ali Al-Qahtani in second place, and “Daha” won by its owner Abdullah Muhammad Abdullah Al-Saadi in third place. In fourth place is “Nouf” owned by Nasser Hamad Khalfan Al Maawali, and in fifth place is “Minhaf.” Owned by Rashid Bakhit Mabkhout Sania Al Menhali.

In the race to collect sweets for local tribesmen, “Mahma”, owned by Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Bakhit Al Mahrami, won first place, “Al Shaheeniya”, owned by Rashid Mohammed Saleh Al Rashdi, came in second place, and “Hiyam”, owned by Mohammed Salem Mohammed Al Mansouri, came in third place, and “Al Shaheenah” came in third place. Owned by Abdul Rahman Abdullah Ahmed Lamloum Al-Musayfri, it came in fourth place, while “Haqwa” won Its owner, Saleh Rashid Saleh Hassan Al Mahri, ranked fifth.

The results in the Asayel Muhjanat race for the tribesmen showed that “Al-Dhabi” won first place, owned by Hamad Salem Saeed Al-Muqbali, and “Waad” won second place, owned by Fawaz Ali Mubarak Salmeen Al-Mansouri, and “Rawa’a” won third place, owned by Mohammed Suhaim Mohammed Al-Menhali, and “Raoud” went to its owner. Musabih Saif Rashid Al-Raihi Al-Alili came in fourth place, while fifth place went to “Zouq” for its owner. Salem Saif Muhammad Al-Muqbali.

As for the Laqaya Sharaya round for local tribesmen (the people of the region), it won first place: “Maraka” by its owner, Obaid Saif Rashid Al-Raihi Al-Alili, in second place was “Ghazal” by its owner, Hamad Obaid Saif Al-Raihi Al-Alili, and in third place was “Taziz” by its owner, Saif Obaid Al-Raihi Al-Alili. “Botawla”, owned by Salem Abdullah Hamidi Al Ketbi, came in fourth place, and came in fifth place. “Remas” owned by Salem Abdullah Majid Al-Zumar.

Tomorrow morning, the camels participating in the rounds of the local and purebred broadcasters will begin entering the Mazayna grids in preparation for their presentation to the relevant committees, and their results will be announced at exactly four o’clock in the afternoon.
