Fujairah and Abu Dhabi clubs win the men’s and women’s chess league titles
Sharjah, December 29 / WAM / The Fujairah Chess Club won the title of the General Men’s Chess League, in the competitions that concluded yesterday at the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club, while the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mental Games Club won the women’s league title.
The Fujairah Chess Club won the men’s league title after a distinguished performance that enabled it to achieve the full mark with 6 points. The Dubai Chess and Culture Club came in second place with 3 points, and the Abu Dhabi Chess Club came in third place with 2 points.
In the women’s competitions, the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Games Club succeeded in topping the rankings with 4 points, the Dubai Chess and Culture Club came in second place with 4 points as well, and the Sharjah Girls Chess and Culture Club came in third place with 4 points.
