We have not received any official signals from America to settle the Ukraine conflict

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow has not received any official signals from the United States about settling the conflict in Ukraine at the present time.
He explained that Russia is not satisfied with the proposals of US President-elect Donald Trump’s team regarding postponing Ukraine’s accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) for 20 years, and deploying peacekeeping forces from the European Union and the United Kingdom there.

Russia-Ukraine conflict

The Russian Foreign Minister added: “Based on numerous leaks and Donald Trump’s interview with Time magazine on December 12, he is talking about freezing hostilities along the line of engagement, and shifting responsibility for confronting Russia to the Europeans.
He continued: “We are, of course, dissatisfied with the proposals made by representatives of the president-elect’s team regarding postponing Ukraine’s membership in NATO for 20 years and transferring peacekeeping forces from British and European forces to Ukraine.”
Lavrov stated: “All policies on all fronts are determined by the current president and his administration, and so far, Biden is the only one authorized to deal with Russia on behalf of the United States.”
He stated: “There is no talk of negotiations regarding Ukraine in these communications.”

The first shipment of US natural gas to Ukraine

Ukraine received the first batch of liquefied natural gas from the United States, to enhance Ukrainian and European energy security with the end of the major gas transportation deal with Russia.
Kiev said in a statement that D-Tech, the largest private energy company in Ukraine, received the first shipment of liquefied natural gas from the United States.
The US gas shipment amounts to about 100 million cubic meters, and is the first US shipment to Ukraine, which has been hit by Russian attacks on its energy grid throughout the three-year war.

Developments in the Russia-Ukraine war

The company received the shipment via pipeline, with delivery of liquefied natural gas, to a Greek regasification terminal in the Mediterranean on Friday.
Regarding developments in the confrontations between Russia and Ukraine, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that North Korean forces are suffering heavy losses in the fighting in the Russian Kursk region, and are facing logistical difficulties as a result of the Ukrainian attacks.
