The Assistant Foreign Minister discusses with the Association of Egyptian-American-Canadian Scholars ways to develop Egyptian-American relations

Ambassador Dr. Sameh Abu El-Enein, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs for American Affairs, discussed with the Board of Directors of the Association of Egyptian-American Canadian Scholars, headed by Dr. Mohamed Atallah, ways to develop Egyptian-American relations through four main axes, which are: in renewable energy, preventive medicine to combat cancer and heart attacks, human resources, political and social sciences, as well as technology transfer and modernization in transportation and construction. The meeting, which came after the conclusion of the association’s annual conference in Cairo, was attended by Dr. Tariq Al-Shafi’i, President of the Egyptian-American Doctors Association.

The delegation of scientists, doctors and engineers was keen to Diaspora to highlight their great interest in transferring expertise, investments and successful experiences in various fields, and cooperating in attracting more American and Canadian scientific, academic and technical expertise to Egypt, to support economic and human development efforts. During the meeting, the Board of Directors of the Association of Scholars honored Ambassador Dr. Sameh Abu Al-Enein at the conclusion of the annual conference in appreciation of his support for the Association’s efforts in developing Egyptian-American relations, and his scientific and academic contributions.
