Gas pipeline explosion suspends supplies in several Pakistani cities

Anonymous people submitted Blowing Gas pipeline using explosive materials in the Merian area in Bannu city northwest of Pakistan, which led to the interruption of gas supplies to a number of cities in the Punjab province.
The police stated that the specialized technical teams began assessing the damage and repairing the damaged pipeline, with the aim of resuming the flow of gas as quickly as possible.

In a separate incident, an explosion of explosive materials occurred on Kohat Road in the city of Peshawar, the capital of the province.
The police confirmed that no human or material losses were recorded as a result of the explosion, Meanwhile, security forces and the explosives removal unit deployed to the site of the accident to collect evidence and investigate its circumstances.
The authorities are continuing their investigations to determine who was responsible for the two bombings, amid growing fears of targeting vital infrastructure in the northwestern regions of the country.
