The UAE welcomes New Year 2025 with dazzling offers and celebrations

Abu Dhabi, December 30, 2025 – The eyes of millions around the world will turn to the UAE tomorrow to follow the festive programs and events on New Year’s Eve 2025, especially the fireworks displays that most of the country’s emirates are witnessing.
The fireworks displays organized by the UAE, specifically on New Year’s Eve, are an important factor in attracting Arab and foreign visitors from abroad, in addition to hundreds of thousands of citizens and residents within the country. The magnificence and magnitude of these displays also reflects the special care that the UAE gives to the entertainment industry.
In Abu Dhabi, the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba announced the New Year’s celebrations programme, which includes a huge fireworks display extending for more than 53 continuous minutes, achieving a record in length, continuity, duration and formations of the display.
The large fireworks display will be preceded by displays that begin at 11:40 p.m. and last for 20 continuous minutes, in which 6,000 drones participate to form moving artistic paintings on the Al Wathba sky page, including 3,000 drones that will paint the largest picture for the first time in the world, in addition to drawing a painting that expresses… About New Year’s wishes.
In addition to the Sheikh Zayed Festival, many locations in Abu Dhabi, such as Abu Dhabi Corniche, Yas Island, Al Hudayriat Island, and other locations witness various and amazing fireworks displays.
For its part, Dubai is preparing to launch more than 45 fireworks displays in 36 strategic locations throughout New Year’s Eve 2025, to include the most famous tourist, hotel and commercial sites, while ensuring that the needs of all visitors of different nationalities are met.
The concerned authority in Dubai announced its intensive preparations to organize and supervise the dazzling fireworks displays, which will light up the Dubai sky and provide a safe and enjoyable festive experience for all residents and visitors of Dubai, while ensuring the highest standards of security and safety in all locations.
The most prominent sites hosting the shows are Burj Khalifa, Dubai Frame, Expo City, Global Village, Jumeirah Beach Hotel “Jumeirah Group”, Dubai Design District, Bluewater “The Beach JBR”, Al Seef, Dubai Festival City, and Dubai Parks and Resort, Hatta, and J1 La Mer Beach.
The Emirate of Sharjah is preparing to welcome the New Year 2025 with an exceptional celebration, as the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) hosts 25-minute fireworks displays in three of its destinations, which are “Al Majaz Waterfront for 5 minutes,” and “Al Heera Beach for 10 minutes.” “Khor Fakkan Beach for 10 minutes”; Each destination provides a unique set of entertainment activities that meet the aspirations of audiences of different ages.
In turn, the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has completed all preparations to dazzle the world with exceptional displays during New Year’s Eve celebrations, including fireworks and laser-equipped drone displays, while attempting to record new records in the Guinness Book of World Records. The show, titled “Our Story in the Sky,” will last for 15 minutes, making it the longest show organized by the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah during New Year’s celebrations.
The show is divided into 3 parts inspired by the beauty of nature, heritage and culture in the emirate, and concludes with a distinctive display of fireworks and drones at midnight.
During last New Year’s Eve celebrations, Ras Al Khaimah set two records in the categories of “the longest series of floating water fireworks” and “the longest display of a straight line of drones.”
