The number of tourists in Tunisia exceeds 10 million for the first time

Tunisia, December 30 / WAM / The Director of the Tunisian Tourism Bureau, Helmi Hussein, announced today that the number of tourists who flocked to his country during the current year 2024 has reached a record level and has exceeded 10 million tourists for the first time.

The tourism sector, which is considered a vital sector in Tunisia, achieved a growth of 9% compared to the year 2023, and the number of tourists according to the latest update, as of December 20, reached 9 million and 860 thousand.

Hussein said, in a statement to the private Mosaique Radio: “Today, December 30, we have exceeded 10 million tourists, which is an absolute record.”
