"Endowments" 27 mosques will open next Friday

The Ministry of Endowments continues its efforts to reconstruct the houses of God – the Almighty – by opening 27 new mosques next Friday, January 3, 2025 AD, in various governorates, 15 of which are under the replacement and renewal system, and 12 mosques for maintenance and development. 

The Ministry announced that the total number of mosques opened since the beginning of July 2024 until now has reached 577 mosques, including 409 Mosques to be replaced and renovated, and 168 mosques maintained and developed, and it confirmed that the total number of mosques that have been replaced, renovated, maintained and furnished since July 2014 amounted to 12,658 mosques at a total cost estimated at approximately 20 billion and 367 million pounds. 

The list of mosques scheduled to be opened was diverse. Geographically, in Fayoum Governorate, the work included replacing and renovating a mosque Al-Rahma, Al-Tawfiqia Village – Senoras Center; And Idris Abdel Wahed Mosque, Ezbet Ahmed Taha – Senoras Center; Al-Rahma Mosque, Al-Istamati Village – Tamiya Center; Al-Khamseen Mosque, Tamiya Center; And Al-Rahman Grand Mosque, Harfoush Village – Fayoum Center.

In Aswan, the works included the construction of Al-Amer Mosque – Al-Fawza Village, Al-Radisiyah City – Edfu Center; Maintenance of Al-Jamawiyya Mosque, Al-Busayliyya Qibli Village – Edfu Center; And Imam Ali Mosque, Al-Busayliyya Qebli Village – Edfu Center.

In Minya, the works included replacing and renovating Abu Al-Oyoun Mosque, Marzouk Village – Mattay Center; Abd al-Jawad al-Gharbi Mosque, Saft al-Khamar village – Minya Center; Al-Salam Mosque, Ghaidan Al-Rubi Village – Samalut Center; Maintenance of Al-Mahatta Mosque – Bandar Al-Minya; And Al-Dawadiya Al-Sharqi Mosque, Al-Dawadiya village – Minya center.

In Assiut, Al-Zahraa Mosque, Ezbet Al-Karban, Bani Rafi’ village – Manfalut center, was replaced and renovated. And Al Nahla Mosque, Naza Qarar village – Manfalut center.

In Giza, the works included replacing and renovating the Martyr Al-Atir Mosque, Minyat Al-Raqqa village, Atfih.

In Beheira, the works included replacing and renovating a mosque. Umm Al-Laban Al-Bahri, New Mansheya Village – Al-Dalangat Center; Al-Hakim Mosque, Atlamis Village – Al-Dilangat Center; And the maintenance of Al-Sherbiny Mosque, Al-Barnoji Village – Damanhour Center.

 

In Sharqia, the works included replacing and renovating Al-Nour Mosque, Ezbet Umm Zaghib – Abu Kabir Center; And maintenance of the Grand Al-Hejazia Mosque, Al-Hejazia Village – Al-Husseiniyah Center.

 

In Qena, the works included the maintenance of Al-Salam Mosque, Al-Qenawiyah Village – Nag Hammadi Center; Al-Rahma Mosque, Naga Ghanem, Al-Arki village – Farshout center; And the Mosque of the Martyr Ahmed Muhammad Suleiman, Al-Arki Village – Farshout Center; And Awlad Hassan Mosque, Haj Salam Village – Farshout Center; And Naga Khalifa Mosque, Sisban, Kom El Ahmar – Farshout Center.

 

In Luxor, the works included the maintenance of the Al Akhawayn Mosque, Naga Al Khatib – Bandar Luxor.

These efforts confirm the Ministry of Endowments’ commitment to developing and modernizing places of worship to provide an appropriate faith environment for worshipers in various parts of the Republic within the framework of the Ministry’s interest in financially rebuilding the houses of God Almighty. Spiritually and intellectually.
