A long artistic career

During his career, Bashir Al-Deek made only two films: “The Flood” starring Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and “Sikkat Safar” starring Nour Al-Sherif. After a long period of absence from the cinematic scene, he returned with the film “Al-Kibar” in 2010, directed by Mohamed Gamal Al-Adl.
Among the most prominent works presented by Bashir Al-Deek, which are considered a strong embodiment of human realism, are the films “The Bus Driver,” “Teacher’s Stroke,” “Against the Government,” “Naji Al-Ali,” and “Hot Night.” He also wrote the films “Dinner Date.” All of this confirms its excellence in presenting simple human issues with a deep and influential cinematic vision.
