"Strauss, Lehár, and Offenbach" guests "Symphony" On New Year’s Eve celebration

As part of the Ministry of Culture’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Lamia Zayed, organized a concert for the Cairo Symphony Orchestra led by Spanish maestro Juan José Nevarro and with the participation of Italian soprano Laura Esposito today, December 31, 2023, New Year’s Eve at the Grand Theater.
The program included selections from classic works written by major authors. International ones include Tritsch – Tratsch – Polka, The Emperor’s Waltz – Elian and Marcia – Hungarian Polka – Tales from the Vienna Woods – To Hunting – Polka – Don’t Worry – French Polka – Monsieur Marquis from the Bat Operetta – The Gypsy Baron by Johann Strausch II, Velga – Lyde from the operetta The Merry Widow – My Warm Kisses to You, Arya from Judita by Franz Lehár, Overture Morning, Noon and Night from Vienna – Light Cavalry by Franz von Zopa, A Satanic Dance by Josef Helmsberger, Orpheus in Hell by Jacques Offenbach, The Copenhagen Steam Railway by Hans Christian Lombe.
It is worth noting that the opera was decorated with many festive aspects to welcome the New Year, including elements of the internal and external decorations that express this occasion. Along with colorful lights and Christmas trees with Santa Claus figures and others.
