المملكة: Various aid.. The third Saudi relief plane departs for Syria

Today, Thursday, the third Saudi relief plane operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center departed from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
It carries food, medical and shelter aid on board, heading to Damascus International Airport. To contribute to alleviating the effects of the difficult conditions that the Syrian people are currently going through.

Saudi aid to the Syrian people

This aid comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s well-known humanitarian role in standing with the brotherly Syrian people in the various crises and tribulations they are going through.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the first pioneers of the Saudi air bridge, which is operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, arrived in Syria.
The plane carried relief aid, including food, shelter and medical supplies, accompanied by a team from the centre.
The plane was received by the Chargé d’Affairs of the Kingdom’s Embassy in the Syrian Arab Republic, Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Haris, the President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Dr. Muhammad Hazem Baqla, and a number of media outlets.

Saudi Arabia’s support for the Syrian people

The Chargé d’Affaires of the Kingdom’s Embassy in Syria explained that this aid is an extension of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the brotherly Syrian people.
This is through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, to contribute to alleviating his suffering as a result of the current crisis he is going through.
The head of the Syrian Red Crescent also expressed his sincere thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the relief and humanitarian aid that the Kingdom provided to his country.

Alleviating the suffering of those affected

He pointed out that the aid will reach the needy and affected people in all Syrian territories without discrimination.
This humanitarian aid provided by the Kingdom to the Syrian people comes to alleviate the suffering of those affected in Syria.
It also embodies the great humanitarian role that the Kingdom plays through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, towards the needy and affected people wherever they are.
