Khalifa Educational Center concludes accepting candidates locally, regionally and internationally for its 18th session

The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award announced the end of accepting applications for the eighteenth session 2024-2025, at all local, regional and international levels, for the 10 fields proposed in the award, distributed into 17 categories.

It is competed at the local, Arab and international levels, for all targeted candidates in higher education institutions and research centres, as well as institutes, schools and community institutions related to educational affairs and the fields presented in the award.

The General Secretariat of the Award also announced the end of accepting applications for the Khalifa International Award for Early Education, which targets candidates from research centers, prestigious international universities, and early childhood education institutions around the world.

The Secretary-General of the Khalifa Educational Award, Hamid Ibrahim Al-Hooti, ​​expressed the appreciation of the Award’s General Secretariat for the broad participation by candidates from various elements of the educational and academic field at all local, regional and international levels.

He pointed out that the Award’s General Secretariat and the specialized work teams made great efforts during the current session to expand the base of introducing the Award and the fields presented in it in various scientific and educational forums, which had the greatest impact in receiving these numbers of candidates, who submitted nomination files that reflect the Award’s stature and leadership. In the educational field, as one of the best educational awards specialized in spreading the culture of excellence and motivating workers in the field to launch projects and initiatives, as well as directing their distinguished efforts to serving the community, promoting sustainability, and nurturing talents. Enabling it to continue the journey of creativity, innovation and excellence.

He said that the current session was launched last July, and since that time, the work teams from the Award’s General Secretariat and the Executive Committee, as well as the coordinators and arbitrators, have all participated in implementing introductory programs and applied workshops to translate the award’s message and objectives in spreading excellence.

He added that delegations from the Award’s General Secretariat made a number of foreign visits to the Kingdom of Morocco, the State of Kuwait, and the State of Qatar, where they met with a number of His Excellency the Ministers of Higher Education and Education, educational and academic leaders, members of administrative and teaching bodies, and community figures, within the framework of intensifying cooperation and introducing the mission and objectives of the Award.

The Secretary-General of the Khalifa Educational Award appreciated the efforts of the strategic partners who made outstanding contributions to supporting the award’s progress during the eighteenth session, noting that, according to the time plan for the current session, the stage of sorting applications began from the first of January and continues until the 8th of next February, after which the arbitration and evaluation stage begins. The nominated works that passed the screening process and met the required criteria for each of the fields presented, while the arbitration process ends on March 24th, after which the results of the current session will be announced in April.
